After a tasty breakfast, get ready for an exciting day exploring Luxor’s West Bank. Our first stop is the legendary Valley of the Kings, the final resting place of many pharaohs from Egypt’s New Kingdom. Next, we’ll visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, a stunning monument built to honor this powerful female pharaoh. We’ll also marvel at the Colossi of Memnon, two gigantic statues that have stood for centuries. In the afternoon, we’ll cross the river to the East Bank to see the amazing Karnak and Luxor Temples, two of the most important religious sites in ancient Egypt. Fuel up with an early breakfast before we journey to the West Bank, where the famous Valley of the Kings awaits. Here, you’ll discover the tombs of numerous pharaohs from the New Kingdom period (remember, Tutankhamun’s tomb requires a separate ticket).
